One of the best food spots I have ever eaten at is Sweet Georgia Brown. Off of 75 south and South Loop 12. Head west on loop 12 for about a mile or two and it's on the left. It's s soul food kitchen and they have the best collard greens and catfish I have ever eaten.
Probably not what you were after, but I know good food when I see it.
