Update: Just got back from the range and fired my new rifle for the first time. First impression was HOLY SHAT!! this mugs powerful. Last year I went to a range and shot about 35 rounds total using a 30-30 and a 308 and I must say, my shoulder hurt pretty bad. Well today I shot 11 rounds with my 30-06 and I simply couldn't fire it again. my shoulder is toast
The only thing that sucked was the rifle section was closed so I had to shoot in the handgun range and it was a pretty short distance. My first few shots were alittle low but they were all grouped very close. Once I noticed I was low I aimed just slightly higher and hit 2 out of 3 were very close to the X. All in all I was very impressed with the accuracy and feel of the gun. The action is sooooo smooth and effortless. Oh BTW I shot standing up with no supports or bench. Here's a pic of the target.
