Custom built (for your application) is best.
But if your looking for a pre-made,
the increases Hector got with the Kamikazi header were respectable.

I dunno the best header, but I'd figure if you're looking for a pre-fab piece, an off road race header would be the best; although not street legal. Poke around on (*cringe*) Focal Jet and you'll find some neato stuff, and some real a-holes.

ummm actually moving or replacing the cat is not legal by law the cat can only be replaced if it is BAD and is not to be relocated at all.

For pre 98's that want to get an aftermarket header,
you will need to tap a hole for the EGR system,
or get rid of the system.
