Hey everyone, wondering about remedies or any suggestions for someone with a hangover. My friend is still puking the day after and says she feels really hot (temperature wise). Anybody have any ideas? Just drink water, no food? Bread? Ibuprofen?

I think it's hilarious this was posted in "Troubleshooting". Drink lots of water. Eating may help. A few Advil can't hurt.

A couple of shots of 151 and she'll forget all about that little hangover..........For future reference though, GNC sells these pills called "Chasers". Supposedly if you take them before you drink(no matter how much) you will feel dandy in the morning. I'm not vouching for these, this is just what they claim. Good luck with that hangover thing though, they're not typically enjoyable.

The best thing to do is rehydrate yourself... alcohol dehydrates you something aweful, so they best thing to do is to constantly drink fluids.. if you are puking a whole lot.. keep drinkin water so you have something to throw up and you arn't puking up stomach acid which is quite dangerous. I am also a big fan of eating some eggs and toast.. it helps.. also just sleep... as much as possible, in a dark room.

Excellent advice. I like some bacon and green chilie with my eggs, though  Chilie works wonders.

The absolute and proven best thing to do is drink MANY glasses of water before sleeping and then durring the following day and also NOT to lay in bed feeling sorry for yourself. Remaining inactive is the worst thing for a nasty hangover. What you must do is summon your will power and get out (with sunglasses) and get the blood moving.
My favorite cure is weed wacking followed by vigorous lawn mowing and sweeping. Then for real pounders, wash the cars and vacum them. After this toast with tea and aspirins. All better!!!
This regimen has brought me back even from mild headache hangovers and from the sinister puking-headpounding-dizziness hangovers. It also keeps wife from waging fingers!

Never threw up from drinking too much. Tried to one morning but nothing in mean to throw up.  A few hangovers when I get plastered, just let time do it's thing.
