Have you changed the spark plugs and plug wires? That
might be a cause of your bad acceleration. Regarding the fuel filter, all you have to do it is back the car up onto some ramps, or put it on jackstands. Look under the car a few inches in front of the passenger side rear wheel and a few inches from the outside edge of the car. You should see a cylinder shaped object with a hose coming out of each end and held up by a metal clamp. That is your fuel filter. Be careful removing it though because it is full of gas. Oh and remember to block your front wheels before getting under the car. Very important.
