I have a single Mtx thunder 6000 10" that I got off ebay and it came in this jenson bandpass box. It pretty boomy, but I like it for the most part. I dont have anything to compare it too, tho, since this is my first sub, and I haven
t heard any elses system. I know with bandpass boxes you have to built them to the subs specifications for it to sound right and was wondering if it would be a good idea to get a sealed or ported box. What would the difference be?
Also in the cone of my sub, around the Mtx logo, there is this glue like stuff, thats coming out of one side, and is on the window of my box. Its like hard crust and I know it shouldn't be doing that. It's not a lot but its still embarassing when trying to show my sub off. Any ideas on stopping that?
