Thats great Procyon..
BTCC champion 1993, 1994, 1999 then Ford withdrew from BTCC.

Mentions the "ultraclose ratio" MTX75 in the 99 ST200. Are the ratios different than ours? Also speed sensitive power steering..different?

Those 94 & 95 4x4 chassis locatable??

If you guys would do some more homework before flaming me, you would have found that there were 4x4 Mondeos offered. Here are a couple of pages that I found which talk about it:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/360/A611001
http://www.performancefordmag.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=967&whichpage=2
http://www.carpages.co.uk/ford/ford_this_month_in_fords_history_part_2_19_03_03.asp

Heck, I even found a page selling old Mondeo product brochures, including one for the 4x4.

As far as the British Touring Car Championship goes: From what I understand, the rules changed for the 2001 season which eliminated the "Super Touring" class and favored smaller cars. Thus the (relatively) large Mondeo had to go and the Focus was already involved in rally racing. I looked up some results from 2001-2003 seasons and don't see any Fords listed. Perhaps a BTCC fan could shed some light here.

I have yet to see you two produce ANY references which run counter to what I have posted. I have ALWAYS strived to give people on this board accurate information based on my years of involvement with Ford on the Duratec engine program. Never based on heresay or what I "think" I know. If you have better information than I have, let's hear it.

You definitely misunderstand.

We mean "actually" finding an AWD setup/suspension/components/etc...

We know they were made using the CDW-27 platform.

Not to mention the MTX-75 that utilizes the 4X4 config has the housing for a ZETEC ONLY.

Which also shares it's mounting flange with the Cossie 2.0L turbos.
