I have tried to install my Aiwa CD player into my contour and when I do there is no sound. My car has the premium sound package and I was wondering is there anyway to bypass the amp w/o having to spend more money?

Crustchfield sells the bypass wiring harness for ~$17. Just crimp wires from the radio harness to the one end of the bypass harness and then plug the other end of the bypass harness to the connector coming out of the amp located behind the glove box.

I did this with the Crutchfield harness just last weekend. Completely removed the stock amp and everything...very easy.
