Other than that you've got to look at AWD. My S60 AWD has a turbocharged 2.5L that gets a whopping 236 ft/lbs of torque at only 1,500 RPM and it only gets a little wheelspin at full throttle from a standstill in the wet. I think my 235/45/17 Pirelli's help as well.
