Sometimes even if I am at low throttle I STILL get wheelhop!
Exactly. I had a V6 and the tires up front hopped like crazy, even at just 1/4 throttle. Came to find out I might as well have had drag slicks up front, the tires were so bald. Bad bad bad...but I still miss those days. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif)
Hector, do tell your secrets! You must have some mad torque on that ATX Zetec to get wheel hop. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif)

Put one of each up front.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

I've got a full set of the Bridgestone LSTs on my car & I have never had wheel hop. My V-6 just scoots me wherever I point the car. I have put down a few "patches" with my ATX, & still no wheel hop.

I get wheel hop when it's wet out too even with my 4cyl and good tires, decent suspension. I've filled my top tranny mount with poly eurathane, not sure yet if it's helped or not.

Forgot to mention, "decent suspension". Upgrades there will help control wheel hop a little as well.
