I replaced the head unit in my 'tour and my sister expressed some interest in replacing the stock cassette player in her probe with the stock cd player from my 'tour. The only problem is that I need to get the plugs that go into the back of my stock cd player since I don't want to cut up the stock wiring of my 'tour. Do any places sell these stock harnesses?

Yeppers!

Parts Express has them at http://www.partsexpress.com ,I can't remember if they have a minimum order or not. 1-800-338-0531 is the 800 number.

However, if you had the "premium sound" CD player, I think you're out of luck. You'd need the amp and stuff to go with it.

If it's the regular one, then the following part number should be it: 265-617, which is a radio harness (not a car harness). Price is listed as $10.50 for one, 4 or more and you pay $9.50

You can go to the Parts Express site and lookup the part number to see what it looks like.

Of worthy note on the Parts Express web site is the following page: http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage.cfm?&DID=7&WebPage_ID=18

Go to the bottom and look at the Ford 6x8 speaker, rated at 110hz to 15,000hz. $2.50 each. Must the the "premium" speaker, as it doesn't have the funky plastic cover permanently on it. :-) Replaces Ford part number F87F-118808-BA
