yeah you heard me the ford racing wires ARE MSD wires.... stock coil pack was made my MSD too  which is what I got to replace my second dying one the MSD Blaster 4 part number 8241

Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.

HAHAHAHAHA I found out a little info too....the Accel coil has a higher voltage than the MSD.

How do I know if my coil is failing? I've got more miles than you joe, so it would definitely be possible for mine to go out. Is there a simple way to test it?
98.5 SVT
91 Escort GT (almost sold)
96 ATX Zetec (i brake to watch you swerve)

volt meter... check and see what each post is reading.

Never had a problem with the Accel. Thought I did...turned out to be the chip!
