ok i got a beta digital 300 300x2 1000x1 okay at 2 ohms mono its ~500 to each sub i have 2 perfect 12"s... Im gettin a or 2 new subs, now i can get em 4/4 ohm DVC 2/2 ohm DVC or 1/1 DVC. Which do i get to get the max outta the amp (how do i wire the subs from the amp and is the switch in mono or stereo). . im not used to DVC's and stuff so any help would be nice. i would like to get the full 1000 outta the amp but i dont know if this is possible. Are DVC just like SVC when wiring and bridging mono and stuff. the beta is for temp use till i get the mmats amps. ;]
now im gettin rid of the 2 infinties and im hookin em up to a power acoustic amp i think its 400x2 and like 840x1 its stable down to 2 ohm stereo... how do i wire it up to get max outta that setup (how do i wire the subs from the amp and is the switch in mono or stereo).
sorry its long and %$#% but i hate to bring my stuff to places around me cuz they simple suck

Loudest Contour, If you plan on buying two subs, get the 2 ohm/2 ohm version of the subs. Wire the one voice coil in series with the other on each speaker. Once you have done that, wire the two subs in parallel.
I'll try to make it simpler to understand, cause it can get confusing. Take a wire and connect one of the positive leads to the negative on the other side (other voice coil) of the speaker. Once you have done this with both subs, use the other two leads that are left on each sub as if they were the only leads available. You should have one positive and one negative on each speaker. Now connect the positive on one speaker to the positive output on the amp AND also to the positive on the other speaker. Do the same with the negative.
If you only buy one speaker, get the 4/4 version. This would be the best option at this point, especially if the MMATs amp is stable into a 1 ohm MONO load. This will maximize your current amp and allow you to maximize the new one when you get it. To wire the one sub, connect the two positives and the two negatives, and then connect just one of the voice coils to the amp. Or run a wire from both positives to the positive output on the amp, and do the same with the two negatives....
I'm getting confused just writing this. if you have any questions e-mail me at davidnewman@excite.com and i'll try to draw up a diagram.

im starting with one and planning on gettin another shortly after depending on how loud the on is. So basically in one situation i need the 4/4 and the other 2/2.. which is wut i was hoping i didnt have to do. im almost positive that if i buy 2/2 now the beta digital is nearly power for both subs even with the line driver.. .i could be wrong wut do u think?
also ya think one mmats amp is enough for both 2/2's?
if it helps the subs are 9512's DD's ;]

If you get one sub now, definitely get the 4/4. When you get the MMATS amp, get another 4/4. This will give you a 1 ohm mono load.
How much are you paying for the DD?

369.99 + shipping for 1 9512 is that good? i dont see them anywhere else and thats the factory direct price
so start wit one 4/4 run it 2ohm mono on the beta digital (500 watts to it?) and when i get the second with the mmats have both 4/4 wired in parallel for 1 ohm mono.

Everything in your last post seems right, but according to your original specs, the amp puts out 1000 watts into a 2 ohm mono load. Which means the DD will get 1000 watts. 500 watts per voice coil.

ok here is the deal the size of the am matters to some degree but thats not all you can get mostly the same sound out of any high quality amp you get. the main key is that the bigger the box the louder the sound. im just tring to tell ya this cause i have been in the sound business for many years and that is what the people that sell you the speaker want you to think (if you get more speakers and a bigger amp then you will get more sound) well that was just a suggention so good luck. by the way i have one jl w/6 and 100 watts gin to it and i get around 125 db.

You get 125 dB in a Contour? Just curious, cause if you do, that means that the contour's interior is good for an 18dB cabin gain. That also means that my one Shiva should be somewhere around 136 dB in car.
