Can motor mount urethane be too hard? I found some 94 A shore durometer urethane and its liquid..then sets very hard. They also sell 80...etc Probably harder than 3m window-weld, and high temp and high tensile strength.
Would there be any consequences if you have a rear roll restrictor that is very very very stiff, compared to the front with just the ES insert?

Absolutely not IMO!
That sounds like some very good urethane to use.
IIRC the stuff I used was in the 85-90 range with a very high tensile strength. (highest durometer I could find "easily")

isn't there something you need to do in order to ensure that the urethane bonds to the rubber of the mount?

It's been my experience that the urethane is very sticky and bonds well to most clean surfaces. I cleaned up the rubber and metal of the mounts with a good spray down using brake parts cleaner. One disadvantage I've noticed to stiff mounts is more vibration transferred to the chassis/body.

Funny, I still call that an advantage... Until the day I can't hold my own liquids in, I refuse to drive a couch on wheels...

Yeah, actually it does feel pretty cool. I guess it's really a feature, not a disadvantage!

yea..that reminds me of this show i saw about the F50, where they described it as the "car/driver interaction is enhanced by the direct connection of the engine and tub that makes up the cockpit"
