Well thanks for the advice everyone, I'm going to make reservations at the Grand Hotel in Mackinac and we'll be spending the weekend there. I need a vacation like u wouldn't believe, it's been almost 2 years

You'll want to take a detour when you're in town... follow the signs to head out to Wilderness State part (west of town) and you'll find some AWESOME twisty roads! We just got back from spending a week up there at Wilderness State Park, and it was great!

Check out the package deals at Mission Point. Some meals included, some out on the town.

Early fall is a great time to go - still great weather, but smaller crowds.
