Has anyone done this mod before? Im confused. i know which wiring harness there talking about in the how-to but there. It stated, "first find the c-100 connector, big before strut between airbox.Unscew this bolt and the connector comes apart".....(what bolt? i havent seen one), black wire with a yellow tracer in socket 31(?). remove end cap for access (?). Is it possible that this how to is for pre-98's or am i in the wrong area. im not stupid when it comes to my tour, but this task is taking me for a roller coaster. i thaught this mod would be easy, but its nothing except a hassle. now that i cant do it so easily, makes me want it done so much more. Any help would be appreciated. thanks!

There is a MUCH easier way to do this.
Climb under the dash,
pull the connector pluged into the back of the clutch,
and either;
1) jumper the end of the connector together and tape it good
or
2) cut & splice the wires together

are post-98's different, i squirmed under there and couldnt find anything. i hate to be a pain but where should i look? right in the back of the clutch pedal, is it up at the top or bottom? Either way my plan is to hook up a momentary switch to the ground and locate it to a place only i know, so my car cant be started by anyone else.

I have a Pre-98, so it may be different.
Its on the back side (firewall side of the pedal) up about equal height to where the bottom of the dash is.
Its the only black connector plugging into the clutch.

The switch makes it so that you have to have the clutch engaged to start the car.
My bypassing the switch you can a remote start to the car, or be able to start the car without being in the drivers seat.
