i said i was leaving but im makin money a lil faster then i thought
im gettin two 2ohm DVC subs (i also have the choice of gettin 1ohm speakers) if i wire em parallel wut will be the ohms to the amp
if i wire em in series wut will be the ohms to the amp
now if i did it correctly i got .5 ohm for the parallel and 2 ohms for the series
which amp would be better for each app.

rms power (mmats amps)
---------
600W @ 2.00Ohm
800W @ 0.50Ohm
1200W @ 0.67Ohm
1200W @ 2.00Ohm
if im wrong wit the ohm-age then let me know thanx

Sounds right, but the lower the impedence, the less control the amp has over the speaker. This leads to bass that can be a lot boomier and looser than it should sound.
What brand of speaker is it? Just curious...
Also, if bridge a two channel amp to each sub you can divide the numbers you came up with by two. (.5ohm bridged=.25ohm, 2ohm bridged=1ohm)

Your figures are right for the OHMmage on teh amps, parallel and series. One thing I would check though is that in series, the second sub in the string is dependant on the first one. If the coil starts to go in the first, it might accelerate the frying of the other by sending screwed up signals to the OK coil. Also, I'm not sure if this applies here, but have you ever hooked up 2 light bulbs in series? The second one in the circuit is always dimmer. Plus, if one goes, the other will fall silent

i didnt plan on hookin em up in the series cuz i get less power out of the mmats amps cuz they are designed for low impedences like that... just pondering the idea if i use my infinity beta 300 to power them for now.
