Hello,

I am wanting to change my fuel filter due to some rough idling but need some help. Where is it located and do you have any tips for changing it.

I have a 1996 Countour with 93000+ miles and it has never been changed. I guess it is overdue!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Its beneath the floor pan, just in front of the right rear wheel. Can't miss it.
You'll need a screwdriver, pliers to remove old clips and a drain pan to catch the gas.
Search the website on how to relieve fuel pressure or just disconnect the lines. Only a squirt should come out. Either way, be careful and wear eye protection like goggles.
