Driving back from NY to MA this morning around exit 35 in CT on I95, I must have zoned out bc I didn't realize I was in one of those 55mph zones. Even worse, I didn't notice a smokie until it was too late. Saw him pulling out as I went past. He said I was clocked at 80 in a 55, and the ticket is for $239!
The sucky thing is I don't usually drive that fast and this will be my first speeding ticket ever (15yrs w/ license).
Any pointers/tips on fighting this? Comments from those who've dealt w/ CT would be most appreciated. Thanks.
