He's right...I have 215/35s on 18x7.5 wheels...too little sidewall. Were I to do it over again I would have had the 225s installed. My car is not a daily driver and SoFla is pool-table flat so it's not too big a concern, but I would never run this setup if I drove my car every day...
I put 36 lbs of air in the tires to make sure I don't bend the rims....doesn't make for a pleasant ride. I'm also very careful where/how I drive.
