i just bought a flush kit and some new antifreeze my ? is where do i install the T (it says in the heater core inlet )where is that i cant see it from up top. have any of you ever installed one of those kits so you can back flush the system ?
I can't help you on that (I've always flushed it with the fill/drain method w/o a flush kit), but flushing it well and then filling it with DISTILLED water + coolant helped me a lot. There was a lots of sand in there b/c (I guess) the previous owner used tapwater.
I tried the water wetter, it didn't help, then flushed it really well and that did. If it's getting hot in slow traffic I switch on the A/C (it's hot outside anyways) and it brings it down to R-M in a minute.
I have a sleek suspicion that these cars were designed so that you use the A/C if it's hot outside and the additional fan will help the ariflow if the car is slow.
