To anyone installing a DiabloChip or a Superchip, has the power increase and revisions to the CD4E ATX shifting corrected the issue of the O/D light flashing? I've tried virtually everything to correct the O/D light flashing but to no avail trying both the black and white speed sensor, replacing the tranny fluid and adding a tranny cooler. Disconnecting the battery or resetting the check engine and O/D light with a scanner are only temporary fixes. The O/D flashing occurs going up an incline in overdrive with a load on the engine and before the ATX has down-shifted to third gear. Sometimes, the O/D light flashes alone and at other times the check engine light also comes on. When the check engine light does come on the only error is P1744 "Torque Converter Clutch System Stuck in Off Position" which I believe means that the ATX has reverted to (harsh) hydraulic shifting, which it appears to do until reset.

If your O/D light if flashing, it means there is something wrong with the transmission. Get the codes checked, have it fixed before it blows up. How do you like the shifting with the new chip? It has to be better than the way the crapbox shifts normally.
