Thanks for the reply! Is the torque convertor and valve body some things that I can repair/replace, myself? In or out from under the hood? If not, any guess on what it would cost to have it done professionally? Since this only happens occasionally, what if I left it alone and each time clicked off the the flashing O/D light and check engine light ASAP with my portable scanner? If it would eventually fry the rest of the tranny, would it really be that much more to replace the whole thing?
