there is no after market for the escort...trust me i have been in there world for a year and i have gotten companys to build parts for our cars...the cosworth is totally different then in america

ummm OK if you say so.... have you looked at BAT's catalog? or ZXtuner??? ther are two places that have more ZX2 parts than contour parts.

yes but i have an escort sedan....if i had an zx2 i wouldnt be putting in a contour,lol....considering the zx2 came with 10hp more and is still dohc zetec

well then any Zetec will do for you...
and the ZX2 does NOT have 10 more hp than a contour Zetec the 98 and newer Zetec is the same HP rating weather it is in the contour the focus or the ZX2. 130hp and 135tq. yes there is the ZX2 S/R which had 15 more hp, but all you need to do that is iceman inake and better exaust, cause that's what ford did.

I thought new zetecs have 130hp and 127ft lbs torque?

well funny thing is ford states both  and by that I don't mean say on a focus it's 130,135 and a ZX2 it's 130,127 for the same year of car they will say in one listing for the same model car 130,135 and then in another 130,127
I feel based on dyno plots of a Zetec that there is more TQ than HP so I would say the 130,135 is the correct rating and for us pre 98's 125,130
