Late 60/early 70s Chargers were running 11s in super stock, NA with big 4 bbl carbs. There were cars similar to the F&F charger that were running like B gas modified or some other obscure class, but as mentioned above, the smaller, lighter cars could be made more competetive. I use to live down the street from a guy that had a very modified early Nova body that was injected, but not blown and ran high 9s. (Absolutely NOT streetable!) This was in the early 70s. I think the F&F charger could have run 9s.
