My friends there are for sure cars( not stock) that were running 9's in the 70's, and not supercharged or blown as we called it then. Mind you it did cost money but nowhere near what it cost today.A hi-po manifold and a Holly 650 double pumper was nothing compared to the cost of todays fuel injection and if you'll notice then rails running still today are using 2 4-barrel carbs and not fuel injection.
BTW I was not really concerned that the Charger was that Fast But that the Toyota supra was running 9 sec. THATS A JOKE!!
