Hello,

I am buying my First Contour (1998 Zetec).

The gauge cluster it has now doesn't have a tach, and i was wondering if i were to swap out one that had one, if it would work. I know you can do this with Focus's, but i don't know about contours?

Also, could someone just tell me when the timing belt would be due for replacement?

Thanks a Bunch, and look forward to being a Contour Owner WOOHOO!!

You can use a gauge cluster with a tach...just need to find one with a tach from a post 98 Contour.

hector is right... however if you get one from say a 99 or a 2000 there is a SMALL possiability that some of the dummy lights will be incorrect.... as in your check engine light could be the over drive off
