I think all this non-sense about those that put in a deposit and not paying up yet is all a "Bunch of Baloney!!!"

Let me say this first towards Crofty (my comment above does not refer to you unless you feel the same way)before I get any further, I put no blame on you for the delay, it's gonna happen, that's the way it is when doing R&D w/little man power, it's simply that some that set aside money for the Kit may have needed to spend it in the lengthy time it took to be available, now it's available and some may not quite be ready or a years time could have changed for that particular person, example: They may have sold there cars???

Now to those saying none should receive there deposits back, if the case be, WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THEY NEEDED THE DEPOSITS??? And if you're part of the GB, shouldn't you be thankful for those that put up the deposits, who helped get this all started when others didn't. Now I can understand if it was impossible to sell the kits and they only relyed on those amongst the GB, but if there are others that can replace those which circumstances have changed, which I'm sure there are, then it shows how unthankful, ungreatful and unappreciative you folks are.

Thing is there's not people willing to get in on this GB, a few yes, but not every spot. Quit whining and just be glad that something like this is happening for you, because it probably won't happen for us pre98 guys (I've sent in $75, which I don't know whether I'll get it back or not if the GB fails). If Kaotic sent back everyone's deposit, then they probably won't have enough money to do this GB at the prices set. Why you ask? Because there aren't hundreds of people willing/able to jump into this GB (though I guess you thought there were ).

I haven't seen anything yet.. so maybe the lack of business is that people want to see a finished product not a photoshopper?

CEG MEMBER..THE DELAYS MAY BE THE PROBLEM WITH THIS GROUP BUY.AND WITH THE NEW CONTOUR REPLACEMENT PICS{2005 FORD} SHOWING UP IN THE MAGAZINES,YOU MAY LOOSE MORE MEMBERS IF THESE KITS ARE DELAYED AGAIN.

That's thing, I don't think you understand this... there's not people to replace the people that won't pay. Yeah, if there were, than those people should get their deposits back, but there isn't anyone getting in on this GB now. So the required number of people (and money) still has not been reached. And it makes it hard to get materials if there isn't money to buy materials. A deposit is called a deposit for a reason.
