how flexible is the stuff or is it pretty rigid....I was planning to clear coat some gutter guard and put that on, but Im considering the elky

the mesh is .060" thick aluminum.
it is fairly flexible, but very strong.
it is being sent rolled up in a 12" square box.
that is how it comes to me.
it will be wavy, but is very easy to straighten.
i have straightened out pieces that were folded over on themselves and you couldnt tell where the fold was.
last year while on the highway something hit my lower gril so hard i felt it through the steering wheel. the mesh dented in about 3/4". i just pulled and massaged it and now its back to normal. whateve hit my grill would have definitly broken the factory mesh.

yeah, that's me. I also sent an email.

it went out 2-day priority.
like i stated before i am packaging int differently than before.
now it is coming rolled in a 1-ft square box.
so when you get it becareful taking it out of the box, cuz once its out it is going to want to unwind.
the edges are VERY SHARP!!
the oil in the mesh is the cutting oil used in manufacturing.
you can easily clean it off with simple green or something like that.
or just wipe it off with a rag.
you will notice there is a good side and a bad side.
the good side is the one you can run your hand or a rag a cross and it feels smooth.
make sure you moount that side facing out.
