About how far in front of the MAF should I have it? And I'm in a tid bit o' a predicament anyway because my intake consists of a giant filter, heat shield, and 75mm MAF, leaving really no room for the IAT, at least, nowhere to drill into for it.

Some of the links are about setups without a MAF (I.E. speed density, karman, map, etc) That's another matter all together.

Some of those links don't even have anything to do with the IAT sensor at all??? (For instance the Ford truck one)

The statement I got out of the Ford trucks link was, "Since it seems temperature related, maybe the intake air temperature sensor isn't working right, not allowing the computer to make adjustments to mixture."

Also I am not making a blanket statement that the PCM does not use the IAT for some form of adaptive fuel control on every system. However on ours it does not, nor would I "expect" most MAF based setups by design would either.

Point taken. I was under the impression that most modern vehicles operated the same w/ regards to sensors. As usual, thanks for clearing that up for me (what is the count now? I think its on two hands )

I definitely could see how my first post could be seen as a blanket statement so I thought I had better make sure to not be accidentally spreading out "bad info" myself.
