Anyone else had problems with these morons? I placed an order for MSDS headers, y-pipe, and their intake setup almost 2 friggin months ago. At the time I was in NM but getting ready to come here to cali on vacation where I knew I would have all the tools and some help to get this stuff installed so I asked them "Will this stuff all be shipped before July?" and they assured me it would be there probably end of June. For the last 2 weeks I have been calling and buggin the hell out of them and up until last friday (when they finally got the y pipe in)they had NONE of my parts ready. For 2 weeks now I've been told "couple of days" or "ETA is tomorrow" so I callled them one last time this morning only to hear that my headers are STILL at MSDS getting powdercoated and they are STILL missing an adapter for the intake that they've been waiting on for a WEEK. I finally gave up and scrapped the whole order as now my vacation in ending and I won't be able to get this stuff installed before I go back to NM and I don't realy want to pay 300+ to get the stupid headers installed by someone else. Maybe I'm being unresonable and impatient? Hell I could've even dealt with the fact that the headers weren't ready yet as that really isn't SloShop's fault so much but they've had 2 FRIGGIN MONTHS to get that intake done and NADA ZILCH NOTHING. Sorry to vent but I'm pretty pissed right about now.
Anyway, just seeing if this is a habit with SloShop or if I'm an exception but I would definitely steer clear of them if you can get your parts somewhere else.

Oh yeah the kicker is this: Now I have a 200+ dollar MAF I can't put on the car 'cause it's calibrated for headers and intake and blah blah blah

haha, i dont know why u even bothered to order in the first place. sho shop is a joke! Tons of people have had problems with them. They'll charge your credit card as soon as you order and then wont ship until a few months later. I refuse to ever order anything from them.

when i ordered my y-pipe a week went by and nothing had come yet..wasnt to upset was only a week. so i called to make sure it was shipped out. so i call come to find out they had not even put my order in the system but they did charge my credit card . so in response i ask is the product in stock, them - "yes". "ok well since you allready charged my credit card a week ago and you have yet to even put the order in how about you ship it out today". week and half after that i finally got my y-pipe

I ordered a CAI, Y-Pipe, Reinforced motor mount, tranny mount, strut tower brace and H&R springs from them in June. I have recieved the CAI, springs and reinforced motor mount already but am still waiting on the Tranny mnt, Y-Pipe and strut tower brace. On two seperate occasions I have called and Tom, who is supposed to be the manager, has told me that my entire order had shipped. Only to call back two weeks later when I still haven't recieved anything to find out that nothing has shipped. My car broke down due to a timing chain tensioner going bad in June and i've had the motor back together ready to go in the car since early July. Ford can get me the tranny mount in one day. If the Sho Shop cant get it to me by next week I'm cancelling my order and I wouldn't recommend the place to my worst enemy.

It's really too bad, I wouldn't be upset if they had just told me that the parts were on backorder. But to tell me that my order has shipped and me rearrange my schedule so I could put my car back together and then call and find out my parts hadn't shipped yet. Was bad enough the first time. They've done that to me twice.

Oh well hindsight is always 20/20. It is very unlikely that they will ever get another order from me.

Wish we had read about the SHO shop before we ordered from them. We ordered stuff for our SHO and SVT on July 3rd and still haven't received it. They charged our credit card right away too and Tom lied every time we called and said it would be ready next week.

To top it off, we had them install Eibachs and Tokikos on the SHO and they charged $125 for an alignment in June. Yesterday we found out at another alignment shop that it was never aligned and the struts had to be relocated in order to bring it into alignment for $177. We contacted VISA to contest the charges today and sent the Sho Shop an appropriate letter.

Let the buyer beware.

On the other hand I had a very good experience with BAT. I called to order the BAT kit and camber caster kit for my SVT and the guy told me it would be a while because they were on back order and the Europeans were on vacation. To my surprise it all arrived about 2 weeks later (I was expecting at least a month) and they didn't charge my credit card until it shipped. Great service!
