Bridgeable means that an amp has versatility. Lets say that you car has 4 door speakers and nothing else. Then you will need a 4 channel amp. Lets say that you then put 2 subwoofers into the back of the car. You will then need either a 2 channel amp, or a 4 channel amp that can be bridged down to two channels. (or other examples) If an amp is 100 watts by 4 channels, and it is bridged to two channels, you are in effect doubling the power, but losing half as many channels (200 watts by 2 channels). This is a rough estimate, as it does not exactly alwats double the power. This was a terrible explanation, but hopefully you get something out of it.
