I had a very similar problem. I didn't have any interior illumination lights. Dash, doors, dome etc. I work for days trying to figure it out. I mean I took apart the fuse box and everything. It turned out to be a loose contact on one of the connectors to the fuse box. I had conectivity on each side but not through the connector. Disconnect battery first before proceeding! When you drop down the fuse box/panel under the dash you will see two long connectors. It's been awhile but I think the left one was the culprit. I pulled it off and stuck a pointed object into the connector to gently adjust it so it made a tighter connection. It's been working for over six months now. My only guess is that when it was in the body shop they were carless when removing it at that time.
