One the way to my friend's house last night about 500 yards from his house my deck shuts off. Completely. The next thing I notice is that when I brake the solenoid from the brake-shift interlock appears to be engaging, every time I brake. To top it all off, the dome and map lights won't light and the clock appears to be dead. I checked fuses 32 (radio) and 26 (main light) and both looked OK. I am going to borrow my friend's multimeter to make sure, what else could it be? Furthermore, does it hurt the tranny for the interlock to be engaging all the time?
