very thin metal bends very easily...I could see corners/sides getting bent(unless, of course, you anchor it w/ screws or something)w/ shifting & such. Not to mention the heat factor w/ real metal...you don't have AC do you? Not that you would drive barefoot or anything, but have you ever left your keys in your car on a hot day & tried to use them? Just something to think about, although if its just for show...thats a different story

This is the stuff I was talking about...Decent price. I believe it's just the material, you have to cut it to fit. Diamond Plate PVC

It would be more just for show, and I would probably remove it otherwise to keep it clean. Though I also have my rear seat removed and my cover the back seat area with it and also use some carpet (hook me up hector ). Those are $40 for enough probably just to do the front and I would be spending about the same to do front, rear, and a little more. I'll just have to find out if I can bend it and cut it good.

Let me explain something to you. I have to work for my money. $184 is a good bit of money (though they're also sold for $130 on other sites). I'd have to work about 35 hours to make that money back. OR I can spend much less and do the work myself. Which is what this thread is about. Thanks for not contributing anything useful. FLCEGkid, if you really want some of the material or just the floor mats, let me know. I'll try to find out soon if the material is good for making floor mats and if so I'll make some.
