Because you ordered the optimized TB at same time I did. Have to get you back.
Hector, not sure when I'll talk to my friend that would be getting me the material and also knows probably if I can cut it. I'll let you know though.

Thanks. I'm doing all my engine work at my dad's house this weekend. Hopefully I can get it on myself when it comes with my limited tools and limited knowledge of engines. I heard it can be a PITA, which WOULD have been easier for my dad (a mechanic that lives over an hour from me) to handle. Oh well.

Cut it with an acetalyne torch, heat the plating up at low heat to bend it, and make sure to be a little sloppy with the cut on the outside of the mat so you have rounded edges instead of sharp ones. Sand and buff the edges to remove the riff raff, and you're good. My buddy works with the stuff all the time. Get the thick stuff, and just remember heat is your friend along with wood angle framing to pound the bend in nice with a 5lb sledge and board.

The friend that will hook me up with the stuff also has all those tools. I definitely need to talk to him soon. If I can do it fairly easily, I'll start selling these if people want them.
