Are you making these similar to the ones on ebay??? I just wondered if you realize that those, in particular, were made from chromed rubber. BTW, I believe someone on there sells the material so you can custom cut your own...as far a real metal, I'd worry about hacking up your ankles on the stuff unless you can figure out a way to bend & crimp the edges under. Of course Kremit, since you are looking for ways to cut back on weight, how about cutting your entire floor out & replace it w/ lightweight polished aluminum(it can be done w/ a little structural support & $$$)?
