I'm not sure about Pioneer, but I know that Sony RF modulated changers are the same as the others but come with the modulator. That means that in the future you can get a Sony CD player that controls a CD changer and it will work. I'm not sure if pioneer does this, but it makes sense so I hope they do. If not, you will be limited by the FM tuner.
