Well I have KDW's on the rear of my SVT and comp VR4's on the front. I can tell you that the VR4's are very nice tires with a nice quiet silky ride. They don't seem to give at all when I'm punishing them. But then again I don't have a set of all four to make the complete analysis. I'm running 32lbs in rear and 40lbs in front which gives for a very controlled feel. I noticed with the front tires inflated to this level that they do want to slide out from me in the rain. In dry they hold for days, obviously not as well as the kdw's but still rather well. I think you could get away with abusing some VR4's. Try out a set.
