Pat Robertson is about as much as a spokesman for ALL of Christianity as Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson are the spokesmen for all African Americans.
So really, you could insert any number of HIM's into what you say.
So I agree on this, Christians should not blindly follow a Pat Robertson or Jerry Fallwell, but should follow the teachings of Christ.
I don't agree with painting all Christians as little Pat Robertsons as you probably wouldn't agree with saying all blacks be judged based on what Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton might have to say on a given day.
