I got a question to ax. I reckon some of the fellas here won't be pleased or something, but why religion, being all that good of an idea, appealing to the best humans have in their minds and souls, why the religion, I am asking now, DOES always produce a vast and never ending array of [censored] ppl like good ol' Pat?

Why can't we try to understand why Pat Robertson would pray for judges to retire?
We should be accepting of his views and try to understand them for ourselves.
We should accept people for who they are, not what they think.
We need a "Praying for Judges to Retire" support group.
We need funding in order to help pray for judges to retire.
We need to give more social benefits to those who pray more often for judges to retire.
What did Pat Robertson's parents go through?
Was Pat Robertson abused as a child?
Did we ignore the warning signs that would indicate that someone would pray for judges to retire?

That is why you have clowns like good ole' Pat. The problem is not religion the problem is HIM. As long as people "follow" him he will be able to spew out the garbage he has said over the last few years. <---- That is the MAJOR problem. People actually BELIEVE what he says.

Pat Robertson is about as much as a spokesman for ALL of Christianity as Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson are the spokesmen for all African Americans.
So really, you could insert any number of HIM's into what you say.
So I agree on this, Christians should not blindly follow a Pat Robertson or Jerry Fallwell, but should follow the teachings of Christ.
I don't agree with painting all Christians as little Pat Robertsons as you probably wouldn't agree with saying all blacks be judged based on what Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton might have to say on a given day.

Robertson is such a blur between a lobbyist, entertainer, right-wing wacko and pseudo-politician I can't even begin to equivocate him to anything other than a case-study in radicalism.
