His name is Austin Meyer. He wrote the most realistic flight sim ever, X-plane. It's not like we're close friends, but I know him through a friend and we all went to NYC a few years back together. He is featured in the August 2003 issue of Popular Science. This is the most (and only) somewhat famous person I know. If you get a chance, read the article. The detail in the game and the lengths he has gone to make it realistic are simply astounding. Even when we went to New York, he spent most of the time writing software. He is also very much a geek, but cool somehow. Also, check out www.X-Plane.com . BTW, the article mentions him owning a 1987 vette, it's actually a 1997. That is all.

my friends uncle wrote the original, "Grandma Got Ran over by Reindeer."

and my friends second cousin is Tom Cruise. Hes only met him once when he was about 2, but he still writes him every so often.

Ive never met any of these two people though.

that's sone good stuff. i've net tons of fanous people working as a stagehand and also catering parties in DC. i even net joe nillionare at a club in DC once, he's an idiot. oh yeah, the last Foo Fighters concert i worked, Pink said what's up to ne. then again, she said hi to everyone b/c she's friendly, still cool though

man you call that a famous person...lol..j/k man that is cool....

although i don't know any of them personally,i have had a chance to meet several celebrities through my work,which is pretty cool...i've met:

faith hill and tim mcgraw
alan jackson
naomi judd
ashley judd and her husband(forget his name)
wynona judd
brad paisley
leann rimes
billy ray cirus
jon kay(steppenwolf)
michael mcdonald
nikki taylor(model)(married to some country dude can't remember his name)

and several titans football players,and predators hockey players

i am by no means a country music fan,but it was cool to actually talk to these people...

I know the daughter of nancy lopez (golfer) and ray (i think that's his name) knight (baseball coach or manager or something). My uncle knows tim mcgraw and catered his daughter's wedding.
