Ok, as some of you may recall, I have a 98 SVT that the CEL came on briefly some time ago, then went off. About 6 months ago, it came back on and didn't go off. I have had the Autozone scan (6+ times) and the P1131 keeps coming up. I have put 2 rear upper bank O2 (Bosch OEM) sensors in the car and cleared the codes out each time. Afterwards, the light returns within about 500 miles. I also cleaned the MAF, then eventually replaced it with a rebuilt. Just last night, the light came back on. I had just been sitting in a parking lot for about 10 minutes with the AC on. The trend seems to be the CEL comes on in city stop and go driving. To my knowledge, it has never come on driving down the highway. The car seems to run fine. The only other thing I can notice is that occasionally it starts to stumble at idle when warmed up. It does this for a minute or so and then quits. So, with all this in mind, does anyone have any ideas? I haven't eliminated vacuum leaks yet. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on how to do that. Would a faulty gas cap be a possible cause?

Using a diagnostic tool you want to see if bank 1 trim (long and short term) is lean. Possibly a vac. leak. Do you have any mods?
