I'd do it, you may not get the entire 5HP increase without a PCM program change, but my gut tells me the car should run fine.

The one thing to consider is the 2000 had a slightly higher compression ratio and slightly smaller displacement (just under 2.5L to get under tax barriers in other world markets) but still produces 200HP
