I have an E0 with a blown engine and my mechanic found an svt engine from an E1 (or at least built for a 98.5-2000) however he said that it wouldn't work if the production dates didn't match. Is this true? I was under the impression that any year svt engine would work in any year svt. Really need help on this, thanks.
