Couple days ago I got my M750. So one of these days I'm going to install it.
Now guess what I'm gonna do with my factory cassette deck? I think I'm going to keep it in the car. I'm going to mount it BENEATH the CD deck. It's going to look a little ugly but a cassette walkman hung by a Velcro would look even uglier. And, I'm going to have twice as many FM radio presets!
What I'm thinking of doing is this: The Sony has an audio input (supposedly for a CD changer). I will hook factory tape deck's front outputs to Sony's CD changer inputs.
So now the toughest questions are:
Are the Sony's inputs ground referenced or differential?
Are the tape deck's outputs unipolar (ground referenced) or bipolar (a pushpull or something)?
A mismatch might very well result in a fatal damage to Sony or tape deck or both.
Any information on this?
