took 6 years of french in school, but have been out of practice for so many years that I can barely speak it.
I am still able to understand it, up to a point.
I can write it a lot better than speak it out loud, but hell that's the same for my english speaking skills.
pretty sad.
It's fun though when my cubiclemate decides to rank on people hardcore and doesn't want anyone to hear. He does it in french so I'll understand. good times. (plus it sounds dead sexy - "like wiping your ass with silk")
I also like listening in on other people's conversations when in public and getting the lowdown on stuff they don't want us englishspeakers to hear.
