Just got finished flushing the old power steering fluid out with new synthetic fluid. It was really pretty easy, all I did was unhook one line going to the cooler and added a piece of scrap hose to the cooler. I put one hose in a old pop bottle and the other hose in the new power steering fluid. I ran the car with the wheels turned to one side and kept adding fluid to the reservoir. I did this for about 5 minutes until the fluid was coming out clear and I was done. Refilled the reservoir and drove it around a little to work out any remaining air. Seems fine.
I posted some pictures of my SVT at the Glen in the pictures part of the forum. Check them out.
I will update you guys after the event to let you know if the power steering fluid problem continued.
Thanks again,
Marty

Something like this setup might help, if there's room for it (Bronco's might have a bit more 'under-hood room'):

Looks like an interesting idea anyway, esp. for an 'on-track' car.

Good luck at the track - Drive it like you stole it!

[ on edit - nice pics! ]

I just wanted to put a final post up on this topic after getting back from the Glen.
I replaced the P/S fluid with synthetic and the problem was gone. I had no leakage and no discoloration.
Thanks for all the feedback!
