If hes getting cars off of unemployment , thats pretty messed up. But he could have saved money up , or have a new job or any number of circumstances. Mazdaspeed RX-8 = one of my cars I want when I get a career.

yeah, 215 hp for $20k. MOPAR upgrades get you 300 hp for about $24k.

drain what system??? unemployment isn't a government system that everyone pays into like welfare. the employers pay into the unemployment and when someone files unemployment then their rates go up. maybe you should research where unemployment money comes from before you assume that it's from your pocket.

Thanks Cliff.. There's lots of ignorance about who pays into unemployment. It's not like I'm sitting at home, laughing at my old employer while I steal their money. I had 2 interviews this week, and I'm hoping something will pan out soon. As soon as it does, I'm buying another car.
While I have the free time, I'm just trying to decide what I want. I just saw some blue RX-8 pics from the Mazda Rev It Up thing, and now there's another color to consider.. 
MazdaSpeed RX-8 would be awesome, but considering the regular RX-8 I'm looking at has an MSRP of $31K, I can only imagine what the MazdaSpeed version would cost. (Not to mention, it'll probably be 2004 before they hit the showroom floors)

no problem  i was on umemployment for a while too and i got tired of everyone saying that they were paying for me to sit at home and do nothing but watch tv and work out. you have to take job interviews and if someone offers you a job you must take it, you can't just sit at home and collect. some people on welfare though........

Gee, thanks... I never knew this! Do you think your employer just writes a check for your benefit? NO... it comes out of your salary. Just like when the government taxes a company, you pay for it in the form of higher prices. Therefore, the more people a company lays off, the higher their unemployment taxes are. GM pays a ton... Microsoft not so much... therefore, when people spend months on unemployment drawing a check from the employer, they have to pay more, and that increased cost is reflected in higher taxes, and lower wages. It IS all a big system. So really, Cartman's welfare is not from my pocket, but it is from someone elses. So maybe YOU should do a little economic research yourself and figure out who's paying for the unemployment checks for your ex-coworker who is living it up, auditioning for game shows and driving his SLK/Boxster...

So you think CArtman chooses to be on unemployment? Do you think he likes not having a job and it's part of his master plan to never have to work another day for the rest of his life?
