No doubt about it, but we're also talking about 300HP for about $6-7K cheaper.. First RX-8s are hitting dealerships this week, a test drive should help solve the dilemna.

I would get the stage 3 srt4. I do have the need for speed though. The RX8 was pretty underpowered in the test I read. As far as a better car, I'd say the rx8 should have better handeling, braking, build-quality, higher status symbol, and it looks cool. The lack of power is what would keep me from getting one.

I'll be testing an RX-8 soon also. I don't think I'm gonna like it much though. 9000 rpm is nice but for everyday driving, I think I'm needing more torque. Ballistic launch: 5.9 5-60: 7.5  Ewww! -R-
